Germany, Bavaria, Modelbautagen Stammheim 2025. (28 and 29 June).

It’s summer, which is usually not the season for a model exhibition, but there are a few exceptions, such as the Stammheim Model Days in Lower Franconia, currently the largest model building exhibition in Bavaria. Although it was, as so often in previous years, a real heat battle, I enjoyed my stay very much. The ambience of the museum is really ideal for such an event, although the halls sometimes heat up very unpleasantly in summer. You have to live with that!

There was again top model building from an amazingly wide array of models to see, whereby almost all genres were well represented. Traditionally, military model building is the mojority here, but figures, ships and aircraft were not neglected either. RC model making also has its place on this exhibition. There was no shortage of shopping opportunities, both at the professional dealers and at the club tables.
