In this episode of The Airbrush Show I take a detailed look at solutions for bent or damaged airbrush needles. Can you straighten them and remove a bent or curved needle tip?
I run through DIY solutions you can try at home, as well as taking a detailed look at a dedicated tool, the Sharpen Air (Sharpenair) device.
Often a combination of all these solutions will get you the outcome you’ll need to get spraying again in a jiffy.
For this demonstration I use two airbrushes an Iwata Eclipse (0.3mm) and a Gaahleri Swallowtail (0.5mm) to show how you can use this tool with thinner and thicker airbrush needles.
