Academia.edu is a platform for publishing “academic” research papers, studies, (book) reviews and much more on what ever subject, so also on wars, campaigns, specific equipment like aircaft and armour etc in PDF format.

We modellers would like to find more historic info on the models we build. Of course books and magazines help us, however, Academia.edu sometime can help you also and is free if you do not download compleet libraries.

I found a paper on the Austers in the Netherlands East Indies by Peter Boer who is a well known author on the subject of the Dutch East Indies.
