Entering service in the second half of the 1980s, the Bremen-class (F122) incorporated the most advanced technology of the day, being continuously upgraded to maintain the edge on the frontline, before the class was gradually succeeded by the Sachsen class, that carried on the legacy of the class for the current and next generation of modern warships. Armed with Harpoon and Tomahawk missiles, CIWS defence stations and up to 3 Westland Lynx multi-purpose light helicopters. And now it sails right onto your desk coming this Friday!
