Curator

This work will be the responsibility of the Content Curation Team.That team will consist of a Librarian and Curators who will curate content to meet the needs of MWB subscribers and the modelling community.  These positions are expected to be a part time, volunteer positions. Current time obligations are less than 3 hours per week, but we expect this to expand during 2025 as we develop MWB’s Educational Services. Job Title:Curator (Multiple positions)
Job Description:This position reports to the MWB Vice President for Education & Outreach.   Curators develop and implement comprehensive plans for a specific body of content.  These persons evaluate potential content to educate and enable the skill development in the modelling community.  
Specific Responsibilities:As a member of the Content Curation Team, establish and maintain standards of excellence for MWB-approved content and production quality.   Be responsible for a for specific body of content.  A particular Curator may steward multiple content elements.   Develop and implement plans for a body of recommended content related to modelling techniques, tools, and products.   Establish partnerships with content creators (Curators may be content creators themselves).  This will be done within all pertinent copyright laws and in partnership with the content creators. Manage language and translation issues.  Initially these educational products will be offered only in English.  As MWB grows, allowance for curation by language may become necessary. Work with the Librarian to organize their content for logical and easy access.  
Qualifications:Extensive modelling experience in one or more elements of modelling skills and techniques is mandatory.   Knowledge of the leading modellers in that body of content is recommended.   Experience as a teacher or mentor is useful.
