Description: This project was a reclamation and recycling piece.
Several components of the diorama were recycled from previous builds of mine, restored, repainted, and reweathered to tell a new story.
This one of a unit in Anzio during the allied invasion of Italy.
All figures and vehicles were painted with Vallejo model air and model colour, and weathering/environmental effects were done with oil paint and homemade pastel chalk pigments.

Modellers Without Borders is a 501(c)3 organization that exists to share the joy of the hobby and serve the global modelling community by providing opportunities for community (on-line/in-person, individual/clubs, and national conventions) and by accelerating individual skill building. Our organization is a force for social good as it promotes the mental health benefits of the hobby.
