Description: This is another project inspired by a photograph, as well as my first attempt at working in greyscale. Painting the tiger was easier than I expected, the tricky part was painting an entire diorama with rubble in greyscale.
The tiger was painted in greys from Vallejo model air, for the diorama, I use several shades of grey primer. The subject was too large to use small bottles of paint, and I had large bottles of grey, black and white primers. So it was more economical to use the primers.
All figures and vehicles were painted with Vallejo model air and model colour, and weathering/environmental effects were done with oil paint and homemade pastel chalk pigments.
