Facebook Moderator/Curator

Position Overview:
The Facebook Moderator/Curator will play a critical role in managing and curating
content on the organization’s Facebook platform to engage with the audience, maintain a positive online community, and support the overall communications strategy.
Reporting directly to the VP of Communications, this position is responsible for
monitoring and facilitating interactions, ensuring adherence to social media guidelines, and driving engagement with followers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and moderate comments, messages, and posts on the organization’s
    Facebook page to maintain a respectful and engaging online community.
  2. Curate and create content for Facebook posts, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats, in alignment with the organization’s branding and messaging.
  3. Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner to foster active dialogue and build relationships.
  4. Collaborate with the communications team to develop and implement social media strategies, campaigns, and promotions to enhance audience engagement and reach.
  5. Stay up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to optimize content performance and audience interactions.
  6. Monitor and analyze social media metrics and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of content, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  7. Work closely with the VP of Communications and other curators to ensure that social media activities align with overall communications goals and objectives.
